Lindsay L. Sharp, age 36 of Abingdon, Illinois, died at 10:02 p.m., on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg, Illinois.
She was born on December 6, 1988, at Cottage Hospital, Galesburg, Illinois the daughter of Dan and Tracy (Cramer) Sharp. She attended and graduated from Knoxville High school in 2007. Then she attended Carl Sandburg College, where is received her nursing degree.
Surviving are her children: Daniel and Abigail Huddleston of Knoxville, Illinois and step-daughter Zoey Reiley of Abingdon, Illinois; her parents of Knoxville, Illinois; Fiancée, Joey Parker of Abingdon, Illinois; two brothers, Jacob (Sarah) Sharp of Knoxville and Justin Sharp of Knoxville, Illinois; a nephew, Lucas Sharp of Knoxville; fraternal grandparents, William and Robert Sharp of Knoxville, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Wendall Cramer and Sandy Weedman.
Lindsay worked at the Knox County Nursing Home since 2005, until she was unable to work in March. Lindsay was a very dedicated nurse, she went over and above to care for her patients and those in need. She loved animals and had a special dog, Remi. She enjoyed playing darts. Most of all, Lindsay loved traveling with her family and friends.
Visitation will be from 5- 7 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025, at Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory. Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory. Interment will be at the Knoxville Cemetery, Knoxville, Illinois. A fellowship will be held at the Hurd-Hendricks Fellowship Center at the graveside services. Memorial may be made to the Family for her children.
