The Galesburg Police Department will host the 2025 National Night Out from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5 at Standish Park. The community is invited to the evening of fun, which is held annually by police departments nationwide to bring law enforcement and neighborhoods together under positive circumstances.
Public Safety officials, including Galesburg Police Department, Galesburg Fire Department, Knox County Sheriff’s Office, and Galesburg Hospital Ambulance Service, will all be at the event with vehicles for kids to explore, as well as showcasing K9 and drone demonstrations.
Many organizations throughout the community will have booths at the event with information and giveaways. Family fun activities will be available, including a bouncy house, dunk tank, and pitching booth. Kona Ice will be onsite with free snow cones for the first 250 guests.
All community members are invited to stop by the event to visit Police Department staff, and join in the fun for National Night Out.
