The 161-member band’s Siren Song performance, inspired by mythical sirens, marked their third competition of the 2025 season. Director Dena Baity credited the band’s hard work and student leadership in a statement to WGIL saying, “The kids have been working so hard this week, and all season. We have excellent student leaders who help push their peers to be their best. ”

The Marching Streaks now target a third consecutive finals appearance at the Illinois State University Marching Band Championships in two weeks, followed by the Bands of America Super Regional in Indianapolis.
