The Galesburg High School girls swimming and diving team secured a 100-83 victory over Moline on Tuesday at Mustain Pool, completing an undefeated 9-0 dual meet season. The Silver Streaks honored seniors Lily Furrow, Hayden Johnson, Maria Kamesa, and Aila Worby during the Senior Night meet.
Galesburg earned first-place finishes in several events. The 200-yard medley relay team of Macie Nelson, Lily Furrow, Hayden Johnson, and Nora Phelps won with a time of 1:58.83. Faith Warren took the 200-yard freestyle in 2:04.48 and the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:14.14. Macie Nelson won the 50-yard freestyle in 26.46 and the 100-yard butterfly in 1:03.38. Hayden Johnson claimed the 100-yard freestyle in 56.67 and the 100-yard backstroke in 1:02.81. The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Faith Warren, Camdyn Miller, Izzy Feehan, and Lily Furrow finished first in 1:46.11. The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Macie Nelson, Camdyn Miller, Hayden Johnson, and Faith Warren won in 3:53.59.
