A semi-truck hauling cattle overturned Thursday morning on US 67 near 100th Avenue outside Roseville, killing several animals and sending one person to the hospital.
Warren County Sheriff Martin Edwards tells WGIL several cows initially escaped but were quickly rounded up.
Illinois State Police Troop 4 responded to the scene. Troopers say an occupant of one of the vehicles was transported to the hospital with injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
