Mr. Tristan Paul Wallace, 37, of Galesburg, Illinois, passed away at 4:08 a.m. Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Allure of Knox County in Galesburg.
He was born May 19, 1988, in Galesburg, the son of Donald Gary Wallace and Yvonne Davidson.
Surviving are his parents and his sister, Natalie (Jason) Davis of Chicago.
Tristan graduated from Galesburg High School in 2006. He worked at Little Caesar’s Pizza, where he could be seen holding up the sign for 17 years. He then went on to work at Goodwill. He was a member of Allen Chapel AME Church in Galesburg. Tristan enjoyed watching sports and old DVDs. He was a fan of wrestling and football fan, specifically the Chicago Bears. He also had a kind soul and enjoyed helping others and often aided the elderly.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, November 24, 2025, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the chapel with Rev. James Hailey officiating. Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery. Memorials in Tristan’s honor may be made to the family.
