William Lee “Bill” Bayne, 83, of Roseville, passed away at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at The Elms in Macomb.
He was born November 15, 1942, in Bushnell, the son of Herman and Virgie (Taylor) Bayne. He was raised and educated in Roseville, graduating from Roseville High School. Bill married Sherry Hayes; she preceded him in death.
Surviving is Marc Martz, who was like a son to him, along with many cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and son BJ.
Bill retired from Briggs Manufacturing in Abingdon after many years. Earlier he worked as a janitor for Roseville School District and as a laborer for Gambles in Monmouth.
Bill was a lifelong Harley-Davidson enthusiast, collector, and flat-track racer. He also loved old trains, train history, and classic country music.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Moore Memorial Home in Roseville, with visitation one hour prior (1–2 p.m.). Interment will follow in Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery.
