OSF HealthCare announced Tuesday that Lisa DeKezel has resigned as president of OSF HealthCare St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg and OSF HealthCare Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth, effective Dec. 31.
DeKezel is leaving the ministry to pursue an opportunity outside OSF HealthCare.
She has served as president of St. Mary since November 2019 and took on the additional role of Holy Family president in 2021.
During her tenure, DeKezel helped establish St. Mary as an intermediate hub for the upper Western Region and maintained the hospital’s “A” Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade. She also supported growth at Holy Family, which holds a five-star rating from the National Rural Rating System.
Plans for interim leadership and the search for permanent replacements will be announced later.
