Glenn Hendricks, 61, of Lowell, Massachusetts, formerly of Galesburg, died on November 29, 2025, at Lowell General Hospital, Lowell, Massachusetts.

He was born on October 6, 1964, in Galesburg, Illinois, the son of Richard D. and Barbara (Turner) Hendricks. Glenn graduated from ROVA High School in 1982 and from Illinois State University in 1986 with a degree in Graphic Design. He was married to Ann Coatney in 1988. They divorced in 2004 and remained good friends until his death.

Surviving are three siblings, Bradley D. (Chris Sivertsen) Hendricks of Davenport, Iowa, Sally (Michael) Keener of Altona, Illinois, and Chuck (Kelly Scott) Hendricks of Altona, Illinois; four nephews, Nathaniel (Emily) Keener, Adam (Meredyth) Hendricks, Andrew (Stephanie) Keener, and Ryan (Carole) Hendricks; great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a lot of special friends, including Tammy Walker and Danielle Marion.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Glenn’s career began in Los Angeles in 1989 at OSP Posters in the Art Department. He eventually moved up to Creative Director. He was then mentored by the founder, Joseph Angard, and learned all about the licensing business. After a move to New York City in 1995, Glenn became a highly respected licensing agent working with the companies Sloanevision, Sunbow (Sony), Lisa Frank, and Welch’s. He handled properties such as Little League Baseball, Chicken Soup for the Soul, TV Guide, Dairy Queen, and other entities. Glenn was very popular and respected in the licensing industry. He was as known for his wardrobe as for his ability to make the deal. He was a member of LIMA and other licensing industry groups and received several awards over his career. He participated in trade shows all over the US and internationally.

After many years in New York, in 2012 Glenn accepted a position as Global Licensing Director at Welch’s in Concord, Massachusetts. He moved to Lowell, Massachusetts, where he lived for the rest of his life. He made many good friends in Lowell and was well known as a local character.

Glenn was known for his signature personal style. He was an avid thrift shopper with a keen eye for clothing and collected hats, scarves, and shoes that any well-dressed person would be envious of. He also collected over the years metal lunch boxes, snow globes, and garden gnomes. He enjoyed traveling, many friends all over the country, and most of all, his family whom he treasured. He made every holiday feel like a holiday. He became everybody’s fun uncle wherever he went. He was the most interesting person in every room he was in. He had an infectious laugh, loved a political discussion, and could make anyone smile. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on December 28, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Bar 65, 65 S. Cherry Street, Galesburg, Illinois. Memorial contributions — “Glenn Hendricks Memorial” — can be sent to the funeral home or to the family. After any final expenses, donations will be made to the ROWVA Band Program.
