MONMOUTH — Monmouth College has released its annual look back at the biggest campus stories of the year:

Diploma-cy
Country-radio legend Lon Helton ’72 delivered the Commencement address to the Class of 2025 on a perfect-weather day on Wallace Hall Plaza.

Another happy Homecoming
Alumni returned for a weekend of women-in-science celebrations, Greek life highlights, and the M Club Hall of Fame induction — with the rain holding off until after the fireworks.

Enrollment increase
For the first time in a decade, new student enrollment rose to 265 first-year and transfer students — up 35 from 2024.

FLASH/TRIO grants
Monmouth landed nearly $2.3 million in federal grants to support Pell-eligible STEM students and first-generation/low-income students.

Schools of thought
The college reorganized into six new academic schools to better align with student interests and future growth.

ABET accreditation
Monmouth’s engineering program earned full ABET accreditation — a major milestone for the college’s STEM offerings.

READY for a new brand
The college launched its new “Students READY for success” brand platform.

Scots Day of Giving
916 donors gave a record $350,701 in one day, including funding for a new outdoor basketball court.

First nursing students
The inaugural class of 24 nursing students began their studies in August in partnership with OSF HealthCare.

A special team
The Fighting Scots football team went 9-0 in the Midwest Conference, outscoring opponents 497-43.
