Abingdon-Avon’s Kennedy Quinn and Galesburg’s Zaniyah Carter headline a group of seven girls from the WGIL/FM95 listening area named to Illinois Basketball Coaches Association All-State teams, selected by IBCA representatives on Thursday.
Class 3A
Galesburg had two players honored in Class 3A. Sophomore Zaniyah Carter earned a second-team selection, and juniors Ella Herchenroder and Jozalyn Kilgore received special mention recognition.
Class 1A
Abingdon-Avon junior Kennedy Quinn earned first-team honors in Class 1A.
Kewanee Wethersfield junior Lana Scott was named to the second team. Abingdon-Avon junior Kaydin Quinn received third-team recognition.
Elmwood senior Andrea Glenn earned a special mention selection.
