47th National Stearman Fly-In

9:00 am: Daily pilot briefing, Stearman Fly-In seminar tent, Galesburg Municipal Airport
9:30 am: Seminar, “An Unintentional Passenger: The Loss of Control Accident.” Presented by Warren Smith, FAA Safety Program Manager, Springfield, IL, Flight Standards Office. Jet Air, Inc. hangar, Galesburg Municipal Airport.
10:00 am: National Stearman Fly-In “field trip” to John Deere Harvester Works, East Moline, IL, and tour of Deere’s corporate hangar at KMLI.
10:00 am – 5:00 pm: Tri-County Airport (2c6) open house at historic grass field 12 minutes southeast of KGBG.
10:00 am – 6:00 pm: Narrated tram rides along Stearman flight line for general public (weather permitting). $1 per person.
3:30 pm: Seminar to be arranged.
Evening: Dinner at Cerar’s Barnstormer Restaurant, Monmouth, IL. Order from menu. Ground transportation available, contact Stearman Fly-In office.
