Christopher R. Loveland, 15 of Abingdon, passed away at 5:24 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2016 at the OSF St. Francis Medical Center Children’s Hospital of Illinois in Peoria. He was born October 26, 2000 in Schenectady, New York, the son of John and Carol Bates Loveland Roe.
Chris is survived by his mother Carol Loveland and stepfather, Ed Lord who raised him; his father and stepmother, John and Dawn Roe, Sr.; his siblings Jazlyn Loveland, Brandon (Ashley) Lord, John Roe, Jr., Tricia Roe, Alisha Roe, and Shawn Roe; nieces and nephews, Gabriel Lord, Lorenzo Washburn, Antonio Washburn, Christiana Roe and Iradessa Roe and uncles Michael Lord and James Snay.
He had lived in Abingdon since 2010. He finished his schooling at Churchill Junior High School in Galesburg and was looking forward to attending Galesburg High School.
Cremation will be accorded. To celebrate his life, the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the Abingdon United Methodist Church, 401 N. Washington St. in Abingdon, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Nancy Wilson officiating. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
