John F. Burgett, 91, of Coal Valley, formerly of Galesburg, passed away Friday, December 30, 2016 at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island. Graveside services will be at Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg, Illinois, on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 1 p.m. At John’s request, there will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials in John’s name may be made to the Coal Valley Volunteer Fire Department. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel is handling arrangements for the family.
