The Galesburg High School Girls Tennis team opened up their new season at the Centennial Tournament in Champaign.
The Silver Streaks were led by the No. 2 doubles team of Adyson Eastburg and Makenzie Williams.
The duo fell to Hinsdale South 6-4, 4-6, 10-3.
They would rebound with a 4-6, 6-4, 10-8 win over Central but then fell to Latin Chicago by default.
