Galesburg Silver Streaks Boys Basketball @ Moline Maroons

Here’s a re-cap of tonight’s game from WGIL’s Brad Bennewitz:

The Moline Maroons de-railed the Silver Streaks successful week with a 66-52 victory at Wharton Fieldhouse as Galesburg came in playing its’ 3rd conference game in the last 5 days.

Khalil Hodge was not de-railed tonight as he had a career-high 22 points on 6 of 9 shooting from 3-point range as he was our Dave’s Auto Body Crunch-Time Player of the Game . The big story for tonight however was the Streaks’ poor free-throw shooting as they were just 11 of 32 including 2 out of 9 in the 1st half.

Moline finishes the Western Big 6  7-3, but Quincy wrapped up it’s outright conference title with a win at United-Township. Galesburg meanwhile drops to 5-4 in the conference, 20-9 overall as they will look for their 21st win at Geneseo tomorrow night with the pre-game at 6:40 with a scheduled tip-off at 7:00.
