
No injuries were reported after a weekend shooting in Galesburg.
According to police, officers responded to the 400-block of North Kellogg street for two “shots fired” calls at 3:42 Sunday morning.
Officers observed several vehicles leaving the area at a fast pace as they approached the scene.
Three 9mm shell casings were recovered from the roadway just north of the intersection for East North Street and North Kellogg Street.
A possible bullet hole was found near the doors of a vacant commercial building in the 300-block.
No weapon was recovered and no injuries were reported. No arrests have been made.
