John Barry Weber, 79, of Wataga, died at 8:03 p.m. Sunday, December 6, 2020, in Toulon Rehab and Health Care Center.
He was born April 16, 1941, in South Bend, Indiana, the son of John H. and Eileen (Strickland) Weber. He married Bridget Bohan on May 13, 1972, in Galesburg.
He is survived by his wife, Bridget, and children, John Henry Weber and Micaela Weber, all of Wataga. He was preceded in death by his son, Joshua.
Barry graduated from Corpus Christi High School. He earned his Ph.D. from the Medieval Institute at the University of Notre Dame. He was a self-employed commodity futures broker.
Cremation was accorded. Private family burial was in the Wataga Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethesda Baptist Food Pantry or the Galesburg Community Foundation.
