More than a dozen healthcare businesses and organizations will be meeting with job seekers when Carl Sandburg College holds its Health Professions Career Expo next month.

Normally, Sandburg holds their annual Career Expo encompassing a wide range of career paths but this year they’ll be holding smaller, industry-specific events at John M. Lewis Gymnasium with the first on Friday, March 5.

Because of COVID-19, masks will be required for all attendees and social distancing will be strictly enforced. Attendees also will be required to complete a brief health survey upon arrival.

The Health Professions Career Expo is free and open to the public. Those looking for employment will have the opportunity to meet with several organizations from the region to network, explore career fields, and learn about the programs of study at the community college.

Other upcoming events include an Industrial and Skilled Trades Career Expo on Thursday, April 15, and a Varied Trades Career Expo on Friday, April 23, both of which will take place at Sandburg.

More information can be found on Sandburg’s website.
