Galesburg man arrested for attempting to fight neighbors and exposing himself.

Galesburg Police on Sunday, October 3rd around 6:45pm responded to Columbus Avenue for a report of a fight. Officers arrived and made contact with 37-year old Brandon Wilson of Galesburg, who was standing in the road yelling at neighbors. As officers tried to question Wilson, he tried to leave and refused to comply with commands. Officers were forced to use pepper-spray on Wilson to detain him and get him to comply. Police then spoke with numerous witnesses who said Wilson was standing in the roadway yelling at neighbors and people passing by. When one neighbor told Wilson to get out of the road, Wilson came onto the neighbor’s property pushing him attempting to fight. When the neighbor pushed Wilson back off his property, Wilson removed his shirt and dropped his pants in the street exposing himself to numerous witnesses – including children. Brandon Wilson was arrested and charged with Battery, Criminal Trespassing, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting a Peace Officers, and a valid McDonough County Warrant.
