The Village of Avon is hosting its first-ever Farmer’s Market and Fall Festival this Saturday, October 16th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There are going to be games and activities for all ages including a pumpkin decorating contest, hayrack rides, live music, and a hot dog eating contest.
Funds raised from the event will go toward rebuilding the village Park.
Trevor Courson has helped plan the event as an Avon Village Trustee and Chair of the Police, Health and Safety Committee and talked with Galesburg’s Evening News on Wednesday.
