The Galesburg Silver Streaks girls basketball team fell to the Moline Maroons 61-36 to open Western Big 6 Conference play. The Streaks struggled with 15 turnovers in the first half and 21 for the game. It was also a cold shooting night as Galesburg hit only 14 of 59 attempts from the field. Kiarra Kilgore was the only Streak in double figures with 12 points. She added 8 rebounds. Abby Davidson brought down 12 rebounds and Abby Lingafelter 8. Alexis Edgerson provided a spark off the bench in the third quarter, hitting a basket and pulling down 5 rebounds. She was our Dave’s Auto Body Crunch Time Player of the Game.
