Friday night (11/18), the Galesburg Silver Streaks girls basketball team beat the Freeport Pretzels, 69-29. It’s the Streaks’ second win in the Galesburg Thanksgiving Tournament at John Thiel Gym. The Dave’s Auto Body Crunch-Time Play of the Game was Syriah Boyd, with 9 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals in the game.
The Silver Streaks continue in the Thanksgiving Tournament on Saturday (11/19) with two games, 10:30am versus Chatham-Glenwood and then at 7:30pm versus Washington. Tom Meredith and Erik Gibson will bring you the action of both games on 93.7 FM, 1400 AM WGIL and wgil.com.
