Galesburg Downtown Council Ready To Renew SSA

The Galesburg Downtown Council is getting ready to renew their Special Service Area. The participating businesses pay a voluntary 1.5% tax to cover expenses of keeping the downtown area flourishing with everything from  new facades to flowers, trees and banners on the light poles. Council president Jay Bullis and board member Bob Bondi joined Tom Meredith on "Galesburg's Morning News" talk about the Council and the SSA.
