Gino Williams’ Career Night Lead GHS Boys to First Win of the Season

The Galesburg Silver Streaks boys basketball team won their first game of the season against the Ogden Owls Friday (11/24) night in their second game of the Thanksgiving Tournament, 79-55. The affair was a close battle in the first half with a total of ten ties throughout the match; however, Senior Gino Williams' 31-point night led the Streaks to a 24-point victory. Gino was named the Dave's Auto Body Crunch-Time Player of the Game for his career night. The Streaks improve to 1-1 on the season.

The GHS Boys will return to action tomorrow (11/25) morning to take on Madison Trojans at John Thiel Gym. Brad Bennewitz and Jason Wessels will bring you live coverage starting with the pregame at 10:10am on 93.7 FM & 1400 AM, WGIL.
