GHS Girls Sweep the Saturday Double-Header with Win over Limestone

The Galesburg Silver Streaks girls basketball team win on Hall of Fame night over the Limestone Rockets, 63-33. In the Streaks second game of the Thanksgiving Shootout, they had another dominant performance that led to the second occurrence of a running clock during their Saturday (11/25) games. The win gives head coach Evan Massey his 997 career win, putting him three short of 1,000.

Senior Antonia Kisler was awarded the Dave's Auto Body Crunch-Time Player of the Game. The Streaks improve to 5-0 on the season.

The GHS Girls will be back to action on Tuesday (11/28) to take on Washington for the final game of the Thanksgiving Shootout at John Thiel Gym. Tom Meredith and Erik Gibson will bring you live coverage starting with the pregame at 6:10pm on 93.7 FM & 1400 AM, WGIL.
