Blessings in a Backpack to host annual ‘Blessings, Brews, and Blues’ fundraiser

The Knox College organization “Blessings in a Backpack” has been in operation since 2011, providing a weekend’s worth of food every week to lower-income students in the Galesburg School District.

Their annual “Blessings, Brews, and Blues fundraiser helps pay for the groceries the organization buys, and it’s to be held Wednesday, May 1.  Students Rez Pena and Joshua Carlos talk about it with Will Stevenson on Galesburg’s Morning News.
