Tourism increase in Illinois results in tourism increase in Galesburg

The State of Illinois Friday announced that tourism in the most recently ended fiscal year increased again, breaking a record set just last year.  In Galesburg, there were record-setting numbers of tourists, too.  Pretty good for a city where people have long said there's "nothing to do."

Randy Newcomb, Executive Director of the Galesburg Tourism and Visitors Bureau, would beg to differ with that assessment.  He says not only are people coming to Galesburg to visit, there's coming back to visit.

Newcomb breaks it all down with Will Stevenson on WGIL's "Galesburg In Focus."
