Former Abingdon resident, now living in Florida, got lucky with Hurricane Milton

There is a lot of damage and flooding throughout a good portion of Florida after Hurricane Milton made landfall Wednesday night.  But, the consensus is in a lot of areas, it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

That can be said for Abingdon native Ken Frey.  Ken and his family live in Clearwater Beach, and decided after their home was hit with flooding from Hurricane Helene, they'd move farther inland to one of their children's homes -- this one in Ocala.

Turns out, Ken Frey was lucky.  Frey talked with Will Stevenson on Galesburg's Morning News.
