Words & Wisdom: Local authors explore writing in discussion at Galesburg Public Library

Authors love to write, but they also love to talk about writing. There will be an author discussion at the Galesburg Public Library on Dec. 3, and here to talk about the event and her book is local author Susan Van Kirk.

The event titled “An Invitation to a Conversation on Writing” will be from 6 to 7:45 tonight (Dec. 3) in the library at 264 W. Main St. It’s free to the public, and will feature local writers Susan Van Kirk reading from her newest mystery “Death in a Ghostly Hue” along with Jim Jacobs reading from his newest novel Growing Season (a sequel to No Ordinary Season).

Susan Van Kirk joins WGIL's Tyler Gumm and Jay Redfern on Galesburg's Morning News to preview the event and talk about her career as an author.
