REPLAY: GHS Girls Finish 2nd at the Coles County Holiday Tournament

After three straight wins at the Coles County Holiday Tournament, the Galesburg Silver Streaks girls basketball team fell in the championship game to the tournament's defending champs, the Teutopolis Lady Shoes, 51 - 41. It's only the 2nd loss on the season for the Streaks.

Sophomore Grace Herchenroder and Freshman Zaniyah Carter were both named to the All-Tournament Team. Chloe Probst from Teutopolis was named the MVP of the Coles County Holiday Tournament.

The Silver Streaks were led in scoring by Zaniyah Carter and Josslyn Peck with 12 points each, Ella Herchenroder scored 9 points, Jozalyn Kilgore finished with 4 points and Grace Herchenroder and Lily Furrow both had 2 points on the night.

Zeniyah Carter was named the Dave's Auto Body Crunch Time Player of the Game. Zeniyah made some huge impact plays and contributed 12 points on the night coming off the bench.
