Knoxville FFA’s Seeds of Honor: Planting for Veterans

Mallory Tolley, agriculture teacher and FFA advisor at Knoxville High School, and KHS student Emily Conley joined Galesburg's Morning News to share insights about the “Seeds of Honor” project, which grows vegetables for local veterans.

Launched in 2022, this initiative, in partnership with military mom Deborah Whitaker, sees FFA students seeding tomatoes, peppers, and herbs during class, with plants donated to veterans at the Knoxville Legion on Veterans’ Gardening Day.
