Carson Olson: WB6 Don Morris Award Winner and Galesburg’s fastest swimmer

Carson Olson, a Galesburg High School senior, is the 2025 Male Don Morris Multi-Sport Award winner for the Western Big 6 Conference. Named for Alleman’s late coach Don Morris, this prestigious award honors senior multi-sport athletes with a 2.5+ GPA. Olson, a standout in swimming, tennis, and golf, holds numerous swim records and is called Galesburg’s fastest swimmer ever by his coach Ray Van Hootegem. A team captain and WB6 MVP, he’s also a community volunteer.
