Summerfest 2025: Your guide to free family fun

Emily Henry and Lisa Medina-Foshay with Regional Office of Education 33 join Galesburg's Morning News to preview Summerfest 2025. The event aims to bring communities together for a night of free fun, food, games, music, and giveaways.

Summerfest in Knox County is set for 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 18 at 932 Harrison St. in Galesburg, with subsequent events in Warren County on July 16 and Henderson County on July 23. Families can enjoy bounce houses, snow cones, balloon animals, and photo opportunities with a hot air balloon. Giveaways include painted stepping stones, water-connecting Twister games, sand/water tables, and bean bag toss games.
