Galesburg’s Sunrise Rotary tees up 4th annual Ball Drop

On Galesburg’s Morning News, Jay Redfern and Tyler Gumm welcomed Pam Perkins and Martin Reichel from Galesburg Sunrise Rotary to discuss their 4th Annual Ball Drop Fundraiser, set for Saturday, Sept. 13, at 1:30 p.m. at Rotary Park on West Losey Street. This unique event involves dropping numbered golf balls from a Galesburg Fire Department ladder truck, with prizes of $1,000, $500, and $250 for the balls landing closest to a target. Tickets are $10, available from Sunrise Rotary members or on-site before the 1:30 p.m. drop. Smokin' Willies barbecue food truck will serve starting at 12:30 p.m.
