A power outage affecting multiple facilities in Galesburg has led to an early dismissal at Galesburg Junior Senior High School and the Galesburg Area Vocational Center (GAVC) at noon today, Sept. 24.
The school outage is isolated to the 7-12 building, while all other Galesburg CUSD 205 facilities continue operating on schedule..
The Knox County Health Department also temporarily lost phone and power service, but it has since been restored.
