Ronald Ray Marquis, 62, formerly of Galesburg, passed away at 6:45 a.m. Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Goldwater Care Center in Roseville.
Ronald was born May 15, 1963, the son of Herbert Edwin and Wanda Ione (McCall) Marquis. He graduated from Galesburg High School and later married Christine Newman; they divorced.
Surviving are his daughter Renee Marquis of Knoxville; son Jonathan Ostrander of Galesburg; sister Doreen LeGrand and nephew Jake LeGrand, both of Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Jordan D. Ostrander, Brent Hendrickson, Charles Thompson, and Karisma Marquis; and one great-grandchild, Malichi Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ronald worked many years in construction and concrete with Terry Lamberson.
