Tykeisha Shantell Dominique Campbell, 37, of East Moline, died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at home.
She was born April 28, 1988, in Galesburg, the daughter of Estella Campbell and Elmus Wallace.
She is survived by her parents, Estella Campbell and Elmus Wallace, both of Galesburg; siblings, Sylvia (Darrie Claybrooks) Campbell of Galesburg, Fietta Campbell of Atlanta, Georgia, Craig Campbell of Galesburg, and her twin sister, Shaneeka (Darnell Lomax) Campbell of Moline; many cousins, nieces, and nephews; aunts and uncles, Leon and Mary Ann Campbell of Galesburg, Naomi (Ollie Smith) Riedi of Galesburg, Sharon and Moses Jobert of Louisiana, and Stanley Campbell of Galesburg; and a special friend, Hector Renta of Galesburg. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Robert Campbell Sr. and Beulah Campbell; nephew, Trae Ramage; aunts, Darlene Campbell and Shirley Campbell; uncles, Robert Campbell Jr. and Raymond Campbell Sr.; and cousins, Kevin Campbell, Shantah Campbell, Denise Smith, and Kavontae Campbell.
Tykeisha graduated from Galesburg High School and was a member of Second Baptist Church. She loved music, especially Michael Jackson. She also enjoyed stringing beads for necklaces and bracelets, eating pizza, and drinking Mt. Dew. Time spent with family was by far her favorite activity.
Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral and Cremation Services of Galesburg. Funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. with Rev. Kimberly Bonds officiating. Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
