REPLAY: GHS Silver Streaks boys basketball vs Intrinsic-Downtown @ Chuck Dayton Holiday Classic

The Galesburg Silver Streaks boys basketball team get back in the win column with a victory over the Intrinsic Downtown Ravens, 70-55. It was a full team effort for the Streaks as every player got minutes. Galesburg went out to an early lead that they would never surrender as they improve to 6-4 on the season and drop a two-game skid.

Cesaire Bile led the Streaks in scoring with 21 points. The veteran leadership of Jaxon Wyatt gave him the Dave's Auto Body Crunch Time Player of the Game as he finished with 17 points and 9 rebounds. Galesburg finished the night with 78 shots as they went 31 of 78 from the field, 2 of 18 from deep, and 6 of 14 from the charity stripe. The Streaks grabbed 48 rebounds (27 offensive), had 17 assists, and turned the ball over 15 times.

The Streaks will continue play in the Chuck Dayton Holiday Classic as they play the winner of the Springfield Southeast/DeKalb game on Monday. Brad Bennewitz and Jason Wessels will bring you the action starting with the pregame at 1:10pm on 93.7 FM and 1400 AM WGIL as well as wgil.com.
