REPLAY: GHS Silver Streaks girls basketball @ Loyola Academy

The Galesburg girls basketball team took a long road trip to Wilmette, Illinois, to take on the Loyola Academy.  The Streaks fell to a solid Ramblers squad, 64 - 32.

The Silver Streaks were led in scoring by Zaniyah Carter and Jozalyn Kilgore with 8 points each,  Lily Furrow and Eleanor Johnson both scored 6 points, and 2 points each for Olivia Springer and Ella Herchenroder.  Overall, Galesburg was 13 of 36 from the field, 0 for 9 from three-point range, and 6 of 6 from the free throw line. They pulled down 24 rebounds, had 6 assists, and committed 19 turnovers while only forcing only 6 turnovers by the Ramblers.

For her hard work on both ends of the court, Lily Furrow was named the Dave's Auto Body Crunch Time Player of the Game. She finished with 6 points, 5 rebounds and a solid effort on defense.
