WGIL broadcast live coverage of the Galesburg Athletic Hall of Fame 2025 induction ceremony on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in Hegg Performing Arts Center at Galesburg Jr./Sr. High School Galesburg High School. The event honored the newest class of inductees, recognizing contributions to Galesburg's rich athletic history across categories including athletes, contributors, and teams.
The inductees are:
- Beau Shay, Class of 2000
- Ardith Johnson, Class of 2001
- Ethan Meeker, Class of 2016
- Rodney Bunch, Class of 1958
- Ron Spring, Friend of Athletics
- 1999 Boys Track & Field Team
Steve Cheesman served as master of ceremonies, and Athletic Director Nick Young presented plaques to the inductees.
