All Aboard for Railroad Days 2025: What you need to know.

On Galesburg's Morning News, Julie King, executive director of the National Railroad Hall of Fame, joins us to preview the 47th Galesburg Railroad Days Festival, set for June 26-29, 2025, in downtown Galesburg.

Julie shares new features like the Main Street tent, hosting a free ice cream social with live music Saturday afternoon and a $5 country music night with the Cow Tippers. The model train show, now at air-conditioned Cedar Creek Hall, is fully booked for vendors. BNSF offers a live wheel change demo and free Mini-Mac train rides. Highlights include VIP yard tours, a photography presentation, and free offerings like face painting and an antique car show. Food trucks, a carnival, and free trolley service add convenience.

Visitors are encouraged to bring cash, use the trolley to help navigate road closures, and visit galesburgrailroaddays.net for details.
