Bringing light ‘Out of the Darkness,’ suicide prevention and awareness walk a week away

It's an important way to learn about a problem people don't always want to talk about, despite how pervasive it is:  suicide.

The annual West Central Illinois "Out of the Darkness Walk" takes place at Lake Storey Saturday, September 14th.  In addition to walking, there will be music and stories shared by those who've dealt with suicide.

Jori Johnson, who started talking part after the death of her son, talks about the walk with Will Stevenson on Galesburg's Morning News.
