Buchanan Community Chorus Prepares for Christmas Concerts, and you can join

Buchanan as a "teaching chorus" to educate singers and audiences, supported by the Buchanan Center for the Arts and the Illinois Arts Council. The chorus focuses on vocal technique, breathing exercises, and lyrical interpretation, drawing members from Warren, Knox, and Henderson Counties for its intergenerational ensemble. The group is preparing for its "The Gift of Christmas" concerts on December 19 at 7 p.m. at Faith United Presbyterian Church and December 20 at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, with rehearsals starting October 20 at 7 p.m. Open to all who love to sing, the chorus offers a welcoming environment, with a $10 seasonal folder fee, and features diverse music, and small ensembles.
