Today, we spotlight some of our area’s brightest young entrepreneurs from the Knox County CEO Program. Established in 2018 with support from local business leaders and schools, this program goes beyond the classroom, teaching students real-world skills like problem-solving, teamwork, and professionalism through hands-on business experience.
On Thursday, May 1, from 4:30 to 6 p.m., these students will showcase their individual businesses at the CEO Trade Show, held at Carl Sandburg College’s new Student Center. It’s a free, open-house event with light refreshments, and you’re invited to come support our youth, meet community leaders, and maybe even buy a product or two—bring cash!
Joining the interview are CEO students Serenity Glahn, a junior at Abingdon/Avon High School; Camden Cox, a junior at Galesburg High School; and Lucy Kuelper, a senior at ROWVA High School; along with Knox County CEO facilitator Jeremy Kleine.
