In their first game of season and in the Galesburg Thanksgiving Shootout Tuesday (11/14/23) night , the Silver Streaks girls basketball team got the win against Metamora, 66-51.
Kiarra Kilgore was named the Dave's Autobody Crunch Time Player of the Game.
The Streaks' next game in the Thanksgiving Shootout was scheduled for Saturday (11/18) morning, but that game with Washington has been postponed. So now Springfield will be their second opponent in the shootout with a game scheduled for 6:30pm Saturday at John Thiel Gym.
