Galesburg man is ‘angling’ to get a national bass fishing title

A Galesburg man is rising in the ranks of top bass fishermen.

When he's not doing his day job, Dustin Taylor is probably -- like a lot of people -- either out on a lake fishing, or working on his boat so he can go fishing.

Taylor is part of the local "River Rats" fishing club, and is making a name for himself on the fishing tournament circuit, having just won the Illinois Bass Fishing Tournament at Lake Shelbyville.  That qualified him for the Bass Federation District 10 Illinois/Indiana national semifinals Sept. 28-29 at Lake St. Clair in New Baltimore, Michigan.
