A book published earlier this year features a number of essays written over the years by resident Barbara Schock about the history of Galesburg and its most famous son, Carl Sandburg.  Sandburg's Hometown:  A Selected Anthology features 145 of 401 writings between 2013 and 2022 originally published on the Carl Sandburg Historic Site organization's website.  Schock and Historic Site member Rick Sayre talk with Will Stevenson on Galesburg's Morning News.

In addition to the historic site and Wordsmith Bookshoppe, copies of the book are available by CLICKING HERE.

Schock will sign copies of her book Saturday, April 27, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the historic site, 331 E. Third St.
