OSF OnCall Pregnancy & Postpartum Digital Care Program

Kate Johnson, clinical supervisor of OSF OnCall Digital Care for Pregnancy & Postpartum and Amy Mefford, nurse practitioner and certified nurse midwife with OSF OnCall join WGIL’s Chris Postin to discuss the OSF OnCall Pregnancy & Postpartum Digital Care Program.

Women who are enrolled have 24/7 access to specially trained nurses and advanced practice providers.

Through an easy-to-use app, they receive information and education for each week of their pregnancy and during postpartum if they also enroll in that program.

Once enrolled, women can contact their care team in whatever way they prefer through the app – phone call, text, and if needed, that can be escalated to a video visit for an assessment to determine if more advanced, in-person care is needed.
