REPLAY: Galesburg Silver Streaks football @ United Township

The Galesburg High School football team wrapped up the 2024 season with a road trip to East Moline to take on the United Township Panthers. The stat that the Silver Streaks ended the game with negative rushing yards tells the struggles that they had getting anything going on the ground against the UT defense. Caden Riley threw for 131 yards in the game, including 2 touchdown passes. But Galesburg fell to United Township, 40 - 14. The Silver Streaks end the season 1 - 8 and winless in the Western Big 6 conference.
The Dave's Autobody Crunch Time Player of the Game was punter Anthony Makwala. Punting is a part of the offense that you don't want to have to use, but when you do, it can be an effect weapon. Anthony had punts in the game that netted 40, 48, and 50 yards. Some of them were from the goal line and the back of the end zone but he was able to flip the field with no return.

A conversation about hospital no-shows, part 2

OSF HealthCare says, like its counterpart Graham Health System, it will not charge patients a fee for not making it to an appointment. Instead, OSF says it will make every effort possible to get to the cause of canceling an appointment, and making sure that patients can get there in the future.
We talk about that, and what should be done if patients have to wait in the waiting room a long time for their appointment, with Amanda Mishler, Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations, at OSF HealthCare, on Galesburg's Evening News.

The Galesburg Silver Streaks football team feel to the Moline Maroons Friday night, 40 - 7. The Streaks are now 1 - 7 on the season and still looking for their first win in the Western Big 6 conference when they go to United Township next Friday night for the final game of the season.
The Dave's Autobody Crunch Time Player of the Game for the Streaks was junior Bradley Eaton. He had lots of great catches in the game, but none bigger than the 3rd down catch that kept the Streaks drive alive and set-up the Jamar Range touchdown.
